"Lived in the area for over a decade. Ease of commute, convienently located, parks & recreations, and great schools. This home is located in a unique acreage private neighborhood, yet still close to downtown Redmond, Kirkland, or Woodinville."

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has really gone downhill. We were excited to be part of the choice program for Spanish, but our kids have almost zero benefit or knowledge of Spanish. The school leadership are extremely closed off and think they have it all figured out, but in reality their lack of leadership is shutting doors for many kids. Recess is an essential time for kids to get outside and get exercise. Unfortunately, the school doesn’t supply recess equipment whatsoever outside of flat balls and a pathetic sports field full of holes and sand. Parents have been suggested to donate materials? This is a public school…and when people have donated or allowed their kids to bring their own balls to school, the materials have gone unused (soccer balls) and the kids who bring their own equipment are told that they will get their things taken permanently if they bring them again. Avoid this school if you care about your kids physical health or are hoping for them to actually learn Spanish -Parent Review3w ago - Clara Barton Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall great learning experience for the kids - caring teachers and values of kindness they uphold. Academically they are enabling kids to develop themselves and not spoon feeding them, but the bigger aspect for me is the focus on character development - which is majorly lacking in other schools, and in the world in general. Among the elementary schools around this area (there are quite a few good ones), I would bet on Clara Barton purely for the character development aspect - which will be a differentiating factor when the kids grow up.Parent Review4mo ago
