6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principal there makes the school horrible. And for learning I don't agree they do not help my child. Bullying is also an issue. You have no say in your child teacher even if there is an issue with the current teacher. They lie and say they have said things to you when they haven't. I would strongly recommend your child going to a different school if you have an option. Myself my daughter bestie and another child this year that I know of are being pulled from this school. For about the same reason.Parent Review11mo ago9 Reviews - Monroe Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSilver Lake Elementary has been a fantastic fit for our family. From the moment we enrolled, we've been impressed by the warmth and dedication of the staff. The teachers are passionate about their work and genuinely care about the students' success. The school offers a variety of enriching programs, including STEM, arts, music, and physical education, providing a well-rounded education. Additionally, the upcoming Dual Language Spanish Immersion Program is an exciting opportunity for students to become bilingual by 5th grade, enhancing their cognitive and cultural skills. The PTA is incredibly active, organizing events like the Fall Festival, Silent Auction, and Teacher Appreciation Week, which foster a strong sense of community and support for the school. Their efforts make a significant difference in the school experience.Overall, Silver Lake Elementary is a nurturing environment where students are encouraged to grow academically and socially. We feel fortunate to be part of this wonderful school community.Parent Review1y ago11 Reviews - Woodside Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are having good experience with both of our kids so far.Infrastructure is good. There is an improvement needed for teachers to encourage every student to participate in extra curricular activities. Most of the times students/parents are not aware of any extra school activities or sports which takes place.Parent Review11mo ago27 Reviews - Mill Creek Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhile the school has a positive reputation, I have been disappointed by how it handles active and competitive children, especially boys. Rather than teaching safe play, sportsmanship, and healthy competition, the school often seems to restrict activities and remove opportunities for kids to be energetic.I believe children should be encouraged to develop their strengths, learn how to compete respectfully, and be recognized when they excel. My concern is that the school focuses too much on keeping everyone the same instead of helping each child grow individually.I also feel boys are often treated as problems when they are simply being active or competitive. From my perspective, there is not enough balance in how boys and girls are supported.Based on our experience, I would not recommend this school for families who value active play, competition, individual achievement, and a more balanced approach to discipline and development.Parent Review2mo ago8 Reviews - Cedar Wood Elementary School
