Both my boys attend Machias Elementary. Their staff and teachers are all amazing. My one son has an IEP and the support has been amazing. Coming from Everett schools, Snohomish school district goes the extra mile to support all students. Machias being a smaller school, everyone is like a family.

My daughter attends this school and we’ve had a lovely experience. The teachers care deeply about the students and the principal is amazing. I love that as a parent I’m able to be completely involved in my daughter’s education and it feels like a collaborative effort in the class. If this was a private school, I’d pay for my daughter to go here.

Great school, great students, great parents and some amazing classes. Where else can you take Spanish in Kindergarten, or robotics in 3rd grade? This kind of homeschool + public school option is relatively unknown & will likely guide the future of education as the students here are thriving.
