Both my boys attend Machias Elementary. Their staff and teachers are all amazing. My one son has an IEP and the support has been amazing. Coming from Everett schools, Snohomish school district goes the extra mile to support all students. Machias being a smaller school, everyone is like a family.

Being a teacher myself I feel it gives me a unique perspective and I think my children's teachers' have worked hard to help them learn and address any concerns we have. The principal is great, as well as all the support staff.

I love that as a parent I’m able to be completely involved in my daughter’s education and it feels like a collaborative effort in the class.
