Both our boys attend Aldie Elementary School. Our older is in the 3d grade & our younger is finishing Kindergarten. Aldie Elementary has been an outstanding small school experience for both! They get 1-on-1 attention from their teachers, have an outstanding relationship with their tight group of friends and the school's location allows them to experience nature everyday. I grew up in NYC and was just a number among hundreds in my elementary school and didn't receive the level of education my kids do at Aldie Elementary. Our kids truly know their teachers and friends and love learning. The Principal Mr. Stephens does an outstanding job leading her staff to create a welcoming environment where our kids have excelled. We will be sorry when our boys have to move on to a larger Middle & High school with a less personal feel.
