Longdale is an amazing school that is very supportive of students of all abilities, needs, gifts, and talents. The teachers are amazing and administration is super positive. I am thankful that my rising 5th grader attends Longdale and that my 4 year old will start kindergarten there this fall!

They are absolutely horrible to my students

There are pretty colors on an awful foundation. This school does not provide any assistance with special needs and tends to favor some children over others. I would never recommend this school to anyone.

My son loves Dumbarton! He starteds school after during the pandemic, everything has been EXCEPTIONAL!

As someone who went through Henrico County schools as a child I was blown away by GAES. The teachers are enthusiastic, friendly, knowledgeable and skilled at what they do. Every time I visit I’m struck by the fact that every staff member seems to know every child by name and the rapport between teachers and students is amazing. It’s almost like a private school within the public education system. I am thrilled that my children are attending GAES.
