3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been at Beulah since 2021 and he is in the Special Education program. The best teacher he has had have been Mrs. Hunt and his amazing speech teacher Ms. Manzi. As a former educator this has been the worst special education program I have encounter in my life. My son and along with other peers need to be placed in a setting that is going to help them strive. The turnover with staff is the absolute worst I've ever seen. I need for this school and their special education department to do better. I wish I could send my son and others to a better education environment, because this isn't it.Parent Review1y ago10 Reviews - J A Chalkley Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was employed at the school. This place has a notorious reputation for being a poor school. I worked there for a year and was forced to resign due to the principal, giving me such a poor review after several struggles with behavior, problems, ranging from students, destroying my classroom and fits of rage, throwing chairs, and fighting each other. I mentally could not handle the stress, and it affected my professionalism. There were teachers who disrespected other teachers asked inappropriate title, nine violation questions such as Are you gay? they would also refuse to assist in any disciplinary action when extreme behaviors hindered the class from learning. even during a classroom observation, the principal chose not to intervene with two kindergarten students who were physically attacking each other, and I had to be in the middle of it. I thought that this was incredibly unprofessional, and was a chosen act to have me look bad, so he could prove that I wasn’t meeting the standards of a teacher who could continue working for CCPS. after being placed on administrative leave pending my non-renewal of my contract, I chose to resign and put the matter to rest for my own well-being. Now I’ve just been left, struggling to make ends meet as a teacher working in a lower paying job than before, w-paying job than before, with my reputation hindered due to false and one-sided accusations. I wish the school no luck, and I hope reform comes down the line to help the students at the school progress forward and not backwards each year with new administrations and continuing behavior and disruptions throughout the school year each day.Teacher Review2y ago11 Reviews - J G Hening Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePretty good School. If I could give criticism about anything, it would be the fact that they do not show recognition to the children for their grades. My daughter has gotten on a roll, straight A’s, and distinguished on a roll for years and doesn’t know the true meaning of recognition. Not even a certificate.Parent Review5mo ago10 Reviews - Jacobs Road Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was at this school for 2 years. In my first year, I shared a space with a controlling and rude teacher who just always talked down to me, but called it constructive criticism. She left and the next year I loved working with the new teacher I shared a space with. The teachers there are great. Most love their kids and would do anything for them to succeed. The Principal is about as fake as they come. She is always hiding in her office and makes the Assistant Principal do all the work. He looked overwhelmed and burned out all the time but still made it to work every day. She threw a fit when teachers who were leaving the school at the end of the year didn't show up for the little gifts she got and tossed them back on the table in a meeting when she noticed they were not there. It was a true sign of how much they didn't care for her patronizing. Chesterfield County Public Schools is slowly looking like Richmond City Schools and they aren't ready for it. This school wants to keep its image more white-friendly and kind of hide ELL kids away from Gen Pop. Students of color get harsher punishments than white kids. Over all not a bad school, but the admin needs to wake up or retire.Teacher Review2y ago51 Reviews - Webber Community Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school used to be really good, it offered computers and foreign lang, those resource classes have fallen by the wayside. The principal has left and the school is being run by the board. Students have left at such a great rate that for the past 2 years they've combined grades. This meant that the teacher only had have half the time to teach each grade, of course the children's learning suffered. I can not recommend this school at this time.Parent Review15y ago1 Reviews - Heritage Christian Academy
