3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLake Ridge is the best elementary in Magna. The principal knows all the kids by name and is very involved. The school was just updated so no one can come in without going through the front office. The teachers have been amazing.Parent Review4y ago3 Reviews - Magna School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is amazing. I've never seen so many hands on activities and rewards for good behavior. They can be a bit strict with homework but I think that's a good thing. It's a great school, I've only not been a fan of one teacher. Even the principal goes above and beyond and really cares for the children. Highly satisfied.Parent Review11y ago1 Reviews - West Valley School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageObscene amount of uneducated and unprofessional teachers and support staff. Endless yelling from the teachers and crying from the kids was going on ALL THE TIME. My kids teacher had to send out a letter apologizing at the beginning of the school year after he yelled at the whole class of THIRD GRADERS so horrendously. When it was brought up to the school support staff they merely said "he is working on it". That is unacceptable when it comes to the mental health of CHILDREN. What kind of respectable teacher looses his temper with a whole class room of children to the point he has to apologize via Class Dojo? Maybe it's time to retire. The playground was understaffed to the point it was a danger to the children. Multiple classes from multiple grades on the playground at the same time with only two adults to supervise. They also allowed the oldest children to recess with the younger children which resulted in the younger ones being injured-purposefully. The support staff is unsympathetic to children with special needs. The school social worker continuously spoke to me condescendingly, misconstrued my words, and had to continuously be corrected by the Principal. We found her to be unprofessional, uneducated in her career field, lacking any type of parental experience, and so emotionally stunted that she was unable to provide any type of support to my child-and in fact made matters worse to the point she had to be completely removed from his education team. We removed my son from this school after his mental health continually declined to the point he said he would "rather commit suicide than go back" to this school......a THIRD GRADER....would rather end his life than have to go back to this school. I would give them -100 stars if I could.Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Pleasant Green School
