  • Izzy Braun
"I live in the community and it’s always been a great community. I will live and die here. everyone is so friendly. The lake is always clean and kept up. The only thing that I think would benefit us is a fixed basketball court because it is falling apart pretty bad."
  • Lisa M. P.

"Good schools and it is a very nice area to raise children. All of mine grew up here and they enjoyed their childhood. Teachers at the schools were great."
  • Courtney M.
"It is pretty far out of the way when it comes to good storea and activities. My husband has to drive about 40 minutes there and back when he has to go into the office. Tooele is close by and there is some shoppong and activities there. stansbury park has a lake, a pool, a small library, a golf course and a lot of fun parks. there are plenty of things to do around here. "

  • Noe M.
"Long distance but typically less congested compared to SLC valley. However, when there’s an accident, the delays are an average of 45 minutes."
  • Tyson H.
"My neighborhood is close to a major freeway. 20 min from downtown salt lake city. It is the perfect distance from 1-80. "

"I live here. It is an incredible neighborhood to live and to raise children or to peacefully retire. It is quiet. No road noise. Neighbors take care of their yards. People are friendly. "
  • Frederick P.
"Beautiful, quiet, safe, friendly neighborhood mostly of professionals who commute into Salt Lake for work. Salt Lake is about a 30-min drive down I-80. Beautiful views of the mountains everywhere. The neighborhood has a lake for water recreation, a public pool, a golf course. No crime to speak of. HOA fees are very low. Plenty of parks nearby. I do most of my shopping in Tooele just 10 min down the road, though Tooele doesn't have everything, so sometimes I have to drive all the way into Salt Lake for some things. Slower-paced, semi-rural lifestyle. I love it here."

"My wife and I moved into this area almost 1 year ago. We were greeted by many of our neighbors within the first week of settling in. Mr. "horrible" must not have been a friendly person. I say that because we aren't affiliated with the church, which happens to be less than a block away, and we are still part of "the club". Our child goes to school with and plays with all the neighborhood kids on a regular basis. We did have a slight issue with all the dog barking, turned out to be one house not many. To resolve this we voiced the issue with the owner. It did take a couple friendly trips before they weren't a problem. This didn't affect our relationship with them. As I mentioned, Mr. Horrible must not have been a good neighbor to begin with. I ranked all options either 4 or better except Restaurants and Entertainment. Stansbury Park/Tooele isn't the place to live if you have a heavy party life, unless you don't mind driving 25 minutes to Salt Lake to go out. We chose this area to get away from all the hustle and bustle of a busy town, and we haven't regret it yet! I would recommend this area to all who are looking. "

"It's probably ok if you're part of the "club", but if you're not, forget it. They wouldn't let my 4 year old daughter play with their kids and I wasn't the only one with that problem. Dogs barked for hours on end at night and no one would do anything about it. At any given time, day or night, you could go outside and hear someones dog barking. They guy just across the street would start his loud motorcycle at 4 AM every morning and let it idle, loudly, for 15 minutes. It was truly and unbelieveable experience and I so appreciate being back in Colorado where people judge me for who I am, not where I go to church!"
