Our family had a stressful experience at Great Oak. I advise families to look at not only the positives of waldrof education but the negative as well. Search online. One teacher mentioned reading is suppressed until the adult teeth appear indicating the etheric body has taken hold. There's a unusual religious aspect to it as well. Things look creative and nurturing on the outside but once you're in you start seeing the flaws. Too rigid & too restrictive not what I wanted in a school opposite/ freedom, creativity, free thinking. Furthermore, my child complained that they were not learning anything.

The recent years our child has spent at CTL have been transformative. The school possesses an exceptional staff and incredible resources, both of which supply the tools for an exemplary education. But the greatest benefit to a child at CTL stems from the single vision the school has toward a lifetime of learning. Since enrolling, our child's level of enthusiasm, curiosity and passion for learning has been both reignited and fueled by the teachers that surround her each day. These are benefits that every child enjoys each school day, and then takes with them - both at day’s end and when their days at CTL come to a close. We cannot overstate our appreciation for the enduring impact this has had on our child, and on all children who dedicate their formative years to an education at this school.

Both my kids love this school new to us. It was nice to be welcomed into a school where both my kids are able to socialize and find common friends along with given the proper education. My daughter even in the GT program enjoys being taken away from her classroom to do different activities with other students.

Im not happy about the school because the reason:My daughter get bully and the racist at the school...

I am disappointed with the school leadership and lots of turnovers from principal to teachers and staff. This is also by far the most terrible school if you have a child that has disability. They offer services for your child based on what’s convenient for them and not what’s best and appropriate for achieving the best learning experience for my child. Some of the teachers are very nice and supportive but my child’s teacher who have a disability do not have compassion and all she did was complain about my child not finishing work, or participating and having behavioral issues. I constantly have to remind her my child is Austistic and that he’s got a lot of behavioral issues and that he needs help and support. She would email me Atleast 3-4 a week and we moved a lot a have another child who have disability and I’ve never gotten so much email about my disabled child not cooperating or having behavioral issues. The school is also overcrowded making it hard for the teachers to actually focus on their students and they constantly have to hire more teachers because there’s just too much kids in this school. Overall not a good experience for us!!! Of all the places we’ve moved and lived this is the worst school for me. My kids doesn’t look forward in going to school everyday.
