7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI worked at Freiheit for about 3 years. I wish I knew about this site years ago because I think it is very helpful. This school has so much potential and has parents and teachers that really care, however, in my opinion the school district has failed to support the school as needed. They have placed too many special programs in the school and have ignored many requests for help. It is common for classes to have to evacuate into the hallway due to a student acting out violently. I saw students attack other students (hit, kick, choke.....etc). Parents were not notified when their children's class was evacuated and they also were not always contacted when their student was attacked which I found disturbing. My advice to parents would be to listen to their children and ask questions. Until parents speak out nothing will change. Also, instead focusing on the 3rd grade and up they should give much more support to kinder and first grade so the students are not so behind when they get to the 3rd grade. The teachers are micro managed and stuck in too many meetings. They have new leadership this year and I hope she is allowed to make the necessary changes. Prior leadership did not support the staff or parents (very unapproachable). The well being of "all" students needs to be prioritized instead of catering to chronically disruptive and violent students. Many of the students with special needs were set up to fail by insisting on inclusion even if that is not what is best for them and/or their peers. I saw classrooms torn apart, staff assaulted/injured and students cry because they were scared of the student next to them. All students deserve a safe environment in which to learn. Every teacher should have an aid in a Title 1 school in order to give the students the best chance to succeed and schools schools should stop the practice of passing students that have not learned what they need (no fault of theirs) in order to start the next grade.Other Review3y ago3 Reviews - Oak Creek Elementary School

This is our 3rd year at oak creek and I have nothing but positive thoughts about the teachers and staff and how they care about the students.Parent Review9y ago6 Reviews - Seele Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageInappropriate Conduct by School Bus DriverDear Principal'sI am writing to formally express my serious concern regarding an incident involving one of your school bus drivers who, on August 29th, 2025, physically and verbally mistreated my child, I.R a student in pre k at seele elementary.According to my child, the driver “grabbed them roughly by the arm, yelled at them in an aggressive manner. This behavior is deeply troubling and completely unacceptable for anyone entrusted with the care and transportation of students. As a parent, I expect the highest standard of professionalism, patience, and safety from school staff — especially those in direct contact with children on a daily basis. This incident has not only shaken my child but has caused great concern for our family.I respectfully request that this situation be taken seriously and investigated immediately. Specifically, I ask the school and transportation department to:Review any available bus surveillance footage from bus 31 on August 29th, 2025.Interview any witnesses, including other students who may have been present.Provide a written response regarding what actions will be taken following this report.Furthermore, I would like to request that my child not be placed in direct contact with this bus driver while this matter is being reviewed. Their emotional and physical safety must be a priority. Please confirm receipt of this letter and let me know the next steps in the investigation process. I am prepared to escalate this matter if necessary, but I hope we can resolve this through a responsible and professional approach.SincerelySteven robinson September 2, 2025Other Review8mo ago4 Reviews - Lamar Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI hate this school . The teachers don’t communicate. They’re unorganized and lost my money and my form for t shirts. A teacher got an attitude with my 5 year old. I’m grateful i found a better school for them next school year. This school is a joke.Parent Review5y ago3 Reviews - I Cento School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been with Cross for the last four years. We started at Cross after looking into several area private schools. Cross was the best fit for our family. The administrative staff have become family to us. Our kids have had great teachers who truly love each of their students. Our kids have grown so much since starting at Cross. Not only have they learned academically, but they have grown to know and love Jesus Christ. As with any school there is always room to grow and improve. One concern we have had is campus security. Although there are cameras throughout that are constantly monitored and doors are secured we felt there needed to be more done. This year they will be installing fencing around the school to increase safety around the perimeter.Parent Review2y ago9 Reviews - Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School
