5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think when it comes to dismissal, depending on the situation, no matter if it’s close to the school getting released if a parent is needing their child immediately I think they should honor what the parent is requesting. Family emergencies come up and there is no way to control it just because you’re gonna be inconvenience for one minute should not affect the student or the students families.Parent Review1y ago3 Reviews - Stewart Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI really do not have any complaints until recently. I'm a parent who works 3 days a week and trying picking up some extra days for additional income and it would greatly help if they will give us the schedules for the month like what they used to do. But these past months they really slacking at it that's why I get surprise most of the time when my son tells me that they have this for this date. I think the school is very disorganized this year. One more thing is I attended my sons recognition yesterday and the principal kept on thanking us parents for coming besides our busy schedule . It would have been better to see our children with those lisd scholar medals being placed on them on stage rather than just being handed to them. Only one teacher did that yesterday but the rest they just handed it to the students together with their certificates.Parent Review9y ago7 Reviews - North Ridge Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI feel that my experience with North Ridge Elementary School has not been very great, and that the staff could be more welcoming, and also fix they're attitudes when parents ask too speak with the principals. The staff could work with they're communications skills when something happens even if it is a small issue, I say the principals need more training on how too deal with bullying and the school district should have them train on how too also involve both parents when they're is a bullying situation with any children, they need too also have a policy about no bullying on the school property, and kids should be suspended or have ISS after school and having a lesson with the child that is bullying another child. Teachers should be teaching them it is not okay too bully in they're classrooms or gym or recess and in lunch or anywhere on the school property, teachers and other staffs should do something if they see any child or adult bullying anyone on the North Ridge Elementary property. I describe the community as okay but again working on communication skills, and bullying. Myself, and my husband feel that our son has grown with his teacher, but we do feel that teachers do not get much help when it comes too the students needing help with a bully the principals do not take the bullying seriously it's like they don't want too call right away too the parents when it happens right then and there they would rather have the child wait till the end of school is out then the child gets home and they break down and cry then the child tells they're parents what happened too them. North Ridge Elementary needs too have training on bullying and communication skills!Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Westwind Elementary School
