What Locals Say about Rim Area

"It has pride of place - homes and streets and park are very well maintained. It’s very safe and walkable. It is a mix of ages and incomes and neighbors watch out for each other. It is next to the mountain, so we go on lovely peaceful hikes, but also just up hill from downtown, so we enjoy urban life too. "

"People walk their dogs all the time even though not all streets have sidewalks. Neighbors stop to visit at the corner of the front yards."

"This neighborhood is family friendly, but does not have lots of baby’s or toddlers. The local university, UTEP, does park on the street of this neighborhood during school hours."

"This neighborhood is filled with great families and is close to everything, especially if you work downtown or in a hospital. The tennis club is walkable for the kids and provides great year round activities. Hike up the mountain from your front door."
