This school has amazing teachers and staff. I'm so glad my child goes here!

didn’t get to finish my last review as I was saying, the principal Mrs Stinson. has totally taken a wonderful school and turned it into some kind of mini prison ,over half the parents I have spoken to do not care for her. Most of the teachers are afraid of her except for her little click that she brought with her when she used to be the assistant principal over at Metro E. The only good thing I could say about Smith elementary is the majority of the teachers first class, love them They go away and beyond to teach their students and to help them, office workers and the cafeteria workers are all topknot, except for their one or two of staff members that are not so good they act just like the principal. she has no interactions with her students or the parents that go to that school. If it wasn’t for her father, she would not even be a principal as a matter of fact, she acts like some teenage kids. She has no business running no school worst principal ever just on the count of her. I would not send my child there. I would send them somewhere else. And I have been with Smith for over 20 years.

Loving teachers that truly care about their students. My children feel welcomed and loved at Barnes Elementary. Clean environment and happy staff!
