7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter was there for two years, the academic requirement is good, they are bilingual and they attend to both languages equally, the activities at the school are adorable... The social skills of some teachers and field staff need to be worked on. But academically it seemed good to me compared to other schools in Austin that have very good scores which they do not deserve, such as Steiner Ranch and Summitt.Parent Review2y ago8 Reviews - Hillcrest Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe whole front office administration needs training on how to create a welcoming professional environment for parents and students. Beginning with greeting parents who come into the office. Everyone always seems too busy, confused, or like it's a bother to answer any questions. Very unprofessional. Lack of leadership.Other Review6mo ago19 Reviews - Perez Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEvery since I signed in my kids to this school I have been very pleased with their curriculum my boys have grown so much in reading, writing, math, and so many other subjects. They have some of the best teachers and principal. This school will not tolerate bullying or any other conflicts in students it is handled right away by higher staff. And parents are always notified of any concerns regarding their child. I love this school I want my boys to graduate from here aswell.Parent Review4y ago11 Reviews - Newton Collins Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love Newton Collins! The principal, Ms. Fredo, is extremely responsive and helpful. You see her constantly moving throughout the school. From the support staff to admin to teachers, you see your child receiving love and affirmation from the moment they walk into the school door. My daughter is also thriving academically. She started in dual language pre-k and now reads, writes and speaks in two languages - English and Spanish. She loves school and every teacher she has ever had. Overall, give this school and Del Valle ISD a chance. It’s a growing community and wonderful school district.Parent Review2y ago2 Reviews
