6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI came here back in 2010 and its sad to see these reviews these children deserve better education. This school used to be a good school for children now that i see the grade average it makes me sad to see these kids not getting a proper education. I blame the teachers for not putting enough effort into teaching these children right.Parent Review4y ago2 Reviews - Rivercrest Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children attended this school previously, and my review is based on this experience. First, I will begin with the positives. I feel that the majority of the teachers at this school are very passionate about their jobs as educators. They try very hard to keep their students engaged which can be a daunting process with large class sizes and what sometimes feels like no guidance and support from the district and admin. Also, I was very happy and surprised with the amount of parent involvement that occurred at the campus. Parents were allowed to help and volunteer their time to help the teachers and the students feel supported. The fundraising and volunteer opportunities that did occur were engaging and the money was spent on the campus. However, there were many negative experiences that occurred to my children while attending this school. Bullying is very much a large problem at this school, and there is no support from the campus. My children experienced instances of emotional, verbal and even physical abuse on the campus. Investigations were done and reports, and findings per district policy did not nothing to keep this from happening spanning over years, in regards to the emotional and verbal abuse, and in regards to the physical , this investigation did nothing. We are currently homeschooling our children wholly from the trauma that they had inflicted upon them day after day at this school. It is now hard for them to trust that they will be safe and supported in a school environment. The thought of them going back in the the public school system fills them with anxiety. There is no real communication between the school and parents, and I , as a parent, felt completely unsupported and powerless as well. Sadly, Rivercrest has the opportunity to be a great school, but falls very much short of the bar.Parent Review2y ago24 Reviews - Altruria Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLove the school and teachers. The principal is not my "cup of tea" because of how she treats parents that are not Bartlett residents. She is not friendly, but the teachers and parental involvement make up for that.Parent Review11y ago4 Reviews - Bartlett Elementary School
