Claxton Elementary is an EXCEPTIONAL school! The teaching staff is amazing, they encompass compassion for every student and meet each student where they are at and transition them further to where they should be! I love how they provide so much care to each and every student of what their needs are and work with them individually if needed as opposed to just as a whole. I love that each member of the staff generally knows the parents' names and are not treated as just a number. Claxton exceeds any other school that I know of in their offerings of afterschool STEM clubs and create a hands-on learning environment each day with a multitude of STEAM related activities and programs to keep the kids engaged and interested in learning on top of the dreaded state curriculum. Claxton Elementary has WAY BEYOND EXCEEDED all expectations for our family!

i am a student here. I’m moving up and I’m super scared. I got bullied last year by people who I thought were my friends. She put corn in my hair and poured milk in me after she stole something from me and I tried to get it back. Teachers love humiliating students. Plenty of girls vaped I’m class and they never said anything. I asked a teacher about one of the girls and she said that she had seen her. This was nothing like the school I went to last year which was a 8/10 school. I don’t recommend this school at all. If you want your straight A student to turn into a failing student then go here.
