"It’s okay for a temporary situation. I have lived here since March of 2020 and it’s relatively safe. I have never seen anyone’s car get broken into. But had some stuff taken behind my fence where my apartment is. You have to be careful."

"Plenty of dog owners that don’t clean up after their dogs. Neighbors not soo neighborly. Enough corner stores and parking varies especially around summer time."

"Neighborhood I'd conveniently located, close to public transportation, highways and very walkable during daytime. Can get a bit sketchy at night, but situation tends to differ from block to block."

"No public transportation at all! You must own a car to get around. No bike paths. Sidewalks are not maintained in the winter. "

"Not a kid friendly neighborhood. More young professional kind of place. Lots of college students too. "

"It has a dog park nearby and it’s great for dogs and other pets. People are nice and the area is great for small restaurants and boutiques. There’s also great sunsets that happen every night so it’s very pretty. I don’t understand why I need to type at least 100 words for this, this is very unnecessary "

"No one ever picks up their dog poop. There’s poop everywhere all the time the streets are full of trash no one cleans "

"It needs some more municipal attention. Bad streets, not a lot of green space, and we’ve called the police multiple times in the middle of the night for domestic disturbances, assaults, intoxicants, and other issues. Good restaurants though."

"Great food. Close to downtown, broadway and Atwells. Don’t get packages delivered to your door; they’ll get taken. Overall, I would recommend this area to any of my friends. "

"Sometimes drivers speed down the streets during the late evening and the cops don’t seem to do much about it, granted they are not always around "

"this neighborhood is vibrant and active, but has a lot of nightlife. so if you’re looking to raise a family, this isn’t the place to be. "

"Dog owners may like the area since the sidewalks make it an easy neighborhood to walk through. There is a park nearby below Westminster in the armory. Below Broadway and near Carpenter St is up and coming. Lots of low key hip places with very chilled out crowds. "

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average5 stars - without question. This school didn’t have the best online PR - the only two articles I read about it were extremely negative (and scared me until I found out all the facts from these stories) - I realize now that my son being placed in this school was a blessing. Previously we were thinking of moving to Narragansett so that he could be in a “good school” but now we are considering staying in this neighborhood BECAUSE of the school, which is ironic.Parent Review8y ago7 Reviews - Holy Ghost School
