What Locals Say about Valley

  • Djper19
"Plenty of friendly dogs but very little clean up is happening. Lit paths and sidewalks help but still lots of dog poop "
  • Trulia User
"No where to walk your dog safely Neighborhood used to be so beautiful went downhill like you wouldn't believe if you were born or lived to death forty years ago and reincarnated, you would never believe what you came back to life to see so sad"
  • Trulia User
"There are multiple schools in the neighborhood along with many parks. There are lots of families in the area. "
  • Meghan M.
"There are no events in this neighborhood that I am aware of. There are church events and gatherings I’ve seen but never attended "
  • Meghan M.
"Area is pet friendly, I’ve been here 2 years with my 2 small dogs and never had a problem with a dog not on a leash or bothering my small dogs. People clean up after their dogs. There are a lot of stray cats that the dogs try to run after. The sidewalks also have a lot of debris including glass so I don’t let my dog too far ahead because I watch for anything that may hurt paws. "
  • Lovealyaah
"There are many schools near by and parks for kids to go to. The sidewalks are usually trashy however and the people aren’t very nice sometimes. Always pay attention to your surroundings and your kids. Some parts however are very nice and have wonderful people and kids around. "
  • Mkclift
"A lot of families and friendly neighbors. There’s a sense of community with the local businesses, library and parkway where the city hosts some events. "
  • David S.
"My commute is extremely easy. I can make it to work via 6 North in 15 minutes or head up Plainfield and be there around 20. "
  • Lee
"Waterfire Arts Center and Steel yard events make the neighborhood special. Olneyville Arts and Federal Hill also offer events "
  • Meghan M.
"Very bad area to live in. High crime and drug infested area. Nearby shooting a few months back. A lot of litter and trash around neighborhood. "
  • Violeta879
"everything is great about this neighborhood silent, food for kids and ederly people as well, animals are very limited, also is not a lot of people during the day or night time"
