4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school goes above and beyond to meet the needs of children with emotional/special education needs. Their emotional support specialist, Mr. Kreitzer is by far, the best with whom I have had the pleasure of working. As an educator, I have attended numerous IEP meetings. To date, I have never attended one where the ES teacher was so prepared and invested in a child's success. The administration is actively involved in the students' academic and personal achievements. They are caring and personable, well liked by the students. The only area where I would like to see improvement is in the area of technology. As with all schools today, technology is advancing rapidly and teachers, as well as students, need to have more education and access to media. I would also like to know more or see more after school programs that address fitness and social interaction.Parent Review12y ago5 Reviews - Mowrey Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been going to Mowery for two years now and let me tell you… he’s now an open book to learning. He was never this opened to learning at his old school in Shippensburg he went from loving school to hating school within a few days because he was being bullied and teachers didn’t pay attention to him. Here at Mowery they help him understand in fun ways that he loves. My son has speech problems and I have seen much improvement over the two years. He also can’t wait to go to school in the morning. His brother goes with him and he also loves it too. I’m satisfied when I know my kids are safe and they’re happy to be in an educational environment.Parent Review3y ago5 Reviews - St Andrew School
