I completed my student teaching placement at the Campus Lab School. What I experienced was genuinely upsetting. Teachers gossip about students, academics are sub par and all scripted, and administration is sloppy. There is a serious increase in behaviors and struggling academics for students after they move up from Kindergarten that I’ve directly witnessed throughout my years as a Carlow student. Behaviors are managed through yelling or irrational consequences. Please be advised that this is not an environment that allows children to flourish long term, and that YouTube is a primary teacher in this building.
