A significant number of the teaching staff and the principal at SJCA do not hold the proper credentials required for their positions. SJCA has experienced an alarming turnover rate among administrators and teachers over the past twelve years. This instability has created a disruptive and inconsistent learning environment. One of the most concerning outcomes of this poor leadership and administrative mismanagement is the potential loss of the school’s accreditation and SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) certifications.The principal of the school is not a credentialed principal and does not have any experience in leading a Catholic high school in any capacity. This lack of proper leadership credentials has undoubtedly contributed to the school’s current challenges and has hindered its ability to provide a stable and effective learning environment. A credentialed principal brings the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to manage the school's operations, support teachers, and create a positive learning environment for students. The absence of a qualified leader can lead to mismanagement, poor decision-making, and a lack of direction, all of which have been evident at SJCA.
