"Transportation is needed however, there is the bus and could walk if needed. River Rd is becoming more congested and can take 15-20 minutes just to get to the Beltline. "

"Great access to Beltline which makes the commute really quick and easy access. River Road gets really busy during commute times. "

"Every summer my street has an annual backyard bbq at a neighbors house. Whenever it snows a lot the entire street has a big snowball fight. "

"Neighborhood is friendly to dog owners and joggers and walkers. Homeowners only want you to pick up after your dog."

"The commute to work is great... as long as traffic isn’t bad. River Road is very busy! The population is outgrowing infrastructure. Rush hour traffic makes it difficult to get anywhere fast. The drive to work can take 5 min or 20 depending on the day. "

"There isn’t a good dog park nearby, but you can walk your dog at the rodeo grounds fields at the end of Lancaster. There are lots of dog owners in the area & lots of neighborhoods to “street walk” in!!"

"I just moved into this neighborhood and love it so much already! My neighbors came over right away and introduced themselves and welcomed me to the neighborhood. It is very close to plenty of shopping and food. Very accepting community. "

"centrally located, the Santa Clara area of Eugene is more suburb than city. traffic can be hectic, but they are working on the beltline now"

"Quiet neighborhood and this is the nicest home in the hood. Fenced, mature landscaping. On the edge of the city growth boundary so the open spaces to the north will remain that way. "

"I live in a wonderful old neighborhood! Its a quiet area. But if your gonna have a backyard party, invite everyone around you. We know our neighbors and can hear the train at 11 pm. We don't have sidewalks, so we have to teach our children and pets how to walk respectifully. If someone is driving down our road we wave to them, because they either live here, are lost or visiting a friend!"

"We lived in this neighborhood for 19 years. Very low crime (almost non-existent), friendly neighbors, near schools and bus line. Quiet, near neighboring farms."

"i live here and its a well established neighborhood with mature trees and neighbors that have lived there very long, the bus stop is right around the corner, it's very pet friendly people walk their dogs around all the time and are friendly, neighbors look out for each other, very clean street, the schools are one of the best in town, their is lots of shopping right down the street and close to the malls, their is lots of street parking and as well as 4 people can park in their driveways, their has been no crime records in this neighborhood and Santa Clara has one of the lowest crime rate in Eugene/Springfield, their is a park and rec right in the area with activities, swimming, exercise room daycare, summer camps and kids activities just a great area for anyone young, old or with a family "

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFor all parents with children that struggle with any neurological diversity, please consider any other option. Of a parent with 2 children that suffered from ADHD, scensory processing disorder, type 1 diabetes and more it was awful! Over 5 years with students with Special Needs at that school 0 progress 0 support for the family my children's progress was degressing, they fell so far behind and we spent our days trying to undo the triggers they had to endure every single day at that school. They did well with my son whom does not have special needs...so I guess there is that. We are in ORCA now both children excelling rapidly and finally after years of crying our family feels supported, cared for and encouraged. There are just a few exceptional teachers left at Irving and we will forever be grateful for the kindness and dedication they showed. Other than that this school does nothing but disservice to families of children with special needs. As far as sone of the support staff shame on you for putting money above children as I now know that has become your job.Parent Review3y ago14 Reviews - Awbrey Park Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter transferring my children from a highly rated South Eugene school, I was concerned about the low rating on this website. However, I was so pleasantly surprised by the staff and the teachers that I have absolutely no regrets. I would highly recommend the school to anyone seeking a small classroom, one on one style teaching approach. The school has a great community feel and you can sense that from the very first day your child attends. They offer additional TAG work if you need it. They are currently upgrading the school grounds so it looks much cleaner, even though the interior of the school itself is always exceptionally clean and organized. We are very pleased with our experience.Parent Review6y ago8 Reviews - Spring Creek Elementary School

A friendly, safe environment where the administration, and especially the counselor, have the students welfare, environment and learning experience at the forefront of their actions, whether that be a plan for the day or strategic long term plan/support/goals for a student’s success.Other Review5y ago4 Reviews - Full Circle Community Farm
