"Our street and the surrounding area is quiet. We deal with very few issues, and our neighbors are really great for the most part."

"Not many dog owners take care of their dogs in this area, or the properties keeping the dogs contained. Dogs are often kept outdoors all day and night regardless of weather hazards, and there are a lot of strays."

"None. There is a lot of drug use and neighbor issues. Cops are often called for one reason or another."

"I don’t see public transportation in neighborhood. You have to walk about a block or two to the bus stand."

"I've lived in the neighborhood for a few months now and it is nice and quiet, blessed with friendly neighbors. You have everything you could possibly need just righ here, 7-eleven, walmart, even a community hospital all with in walking distance. Not to mention a great school system which is the main reason why I moved to this area."

"Lived here for 18 years and everyone is pleasant. Kids can be a bit noisy, but they are kids, so that's expected. "

"This is a quiet neighborhood with many very nice families. Most homes are well maintained and yards are mowed and clean. This is a hidden gem in south okc. Affordable homes close to shopping, grocery stores, medical care, restaurants and entertainment."

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJohn Glenn elementary completely failed my son this school year. Beginning the school year with substitute after substitute and finally putting him into a classroom 2 grade levels above his own. His school supplies are still in his backpack and its April. He has fallen so far behind this school year I don't know how we will ever make it up. It is not surprising to me at all with a principal who's philosophy is " discipline is our number one goal and concern, we can catch the child up academically once discipline is handled " . I am mortified with what an epic fail this school year has been.Parent Review10y ago6 Reviews - Fairview Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend this school even if this is the last school on earth. The people at the school are incompetent. The principal and the assisted principal don't care about the students, especially if their black students.I have a kid that currently goes there.Who constantly get bullied?Who constantly get called racial slurs? And when he reports, it, nothing gets done. The only time something is done is when my kid stands up for him or herself. And then they notify me about what my has done my child is currently suspended because a kid hit him.He told the teacher today the teacher actually decided to do something. The boy hit him again. My kid stood up against the bully but they suspended my kid they also banned me off the premises.Because I go talk to the kids.Parents about the bullying since the school does nothing i don't go off on appearance. I let the parents know what's going on. And ask the parents to tell their kids to keep their hands off my kids. So this school is a joke. They really need to fire the whole staff and start over and then since they banned me from allmore public schools, they made to where I can't enroll my kid in a different school. So if you have african american children do not, I repeat, do not your children into this school. I recently found out I am not the only one they're doing this to. There's other African American parents that I have talked to who went through the same thing, or who's going to do the same thing. So me personally, I am taking legal action. But find a different school. Please find a different schoolParent Review9mo ago12 Reviews - Prairie Queen Elementary School
