"My commute to work is easy as there is plenty of ways to get downtown. Freeway access isn’t that far for 271 or 480, if needed. The train is easy to jump on from anywhere within Shaker. "

"I grew up in Shaker Hts., graduated from the high school, my children went to Shaker schools. I moved back to Shaker in 2014. I find it to be as diverse as I remember it to be."

Our experience at St. Dominic School has been exceptional. Our children are consistently supported, challenged, and nurtured, not just academically, but also emotionally and spiritually. I am regularly overwhelmed with gratitude for the St. Dominic community. The teachers meet the diverse needs of all students and demonstrate an impressive commitment to incorporating best practices in their instruction; my children are truly thriving. But above all, my children are surrounded by a community that emphasizes care for others and inclusion for all. The small size of the school was something that gave us a little pause when evaluating educational options, but that has actually been one of the greatest advantages and blessings of our time here; St. Dominic School is a tight-knit community that embraces all and provides a safe place for kids to make mistakes.
