Neighborhood Facebook page to inform of local crime, garage/yard sales, etc. Nearby public transit (train/bus) easy access to downtown. Nearby library, shopping, farmers market, barber shops, hair salons. Nearby elementary school. "

"I've lived in Lomond for 30+ years. Very friendly, diverse neighborhood. Welcoming to all ages and ethnicities. Lots of dog walkers, early morning joggers and walkers, playing children. All amenities you need (grocery store, restaurants, services, banks, etc.) are in walking distance. Really nice place to live."

"Dogs are being walked frequently. The city doesn’t allow your dogs in the parks. You will have to drive a distance if you want to socialize your dog. "

"Lived here many years. Nice community except for the Absentee landlords and some careless tenants. Otherwise, the city services are excellent, access to everything you need is quite convenient, and the neighborhood is very walkable."
