"Old Town East is diverse with people of all backgrounds. I find it quiet and charming. The best affordable places are not on these apps, look for leasing office and building signs and reference that for their websites! Good luck"

"There isn’t really anywhere for dogs to run around except the scioto river area. So having a big dog might be hard. "

"Access to the Cbus is great! But there is no sense of community whatsoever and it’s not a great place to raise a family. "
  • Elisabeth C.
"There are lots of festivals all throughout the summer along the Scioto River that make living downtown lots of fun! And there are lots of events in the Columbus Commons all year round. "

"Up and coming. This area will be what the short north was 20 years ago, when it was good. I am looking forward to being here for the next 20."
  • Lindsey c.
"Not many fenced yards. Mostly apartments and condos with limited green space, which means owner must accompany dog with a leash. A challenge mainly during weather extremes."
  • Sean M.
"Great streetscape and walkability. Awesome neighbors. Easy walk to work and numerous coffee shops. Wide variety of great places to eat within 5 mins. "
  • Nancy R.
"I live in this neighborhood. We are next door to the Main Library and Topiary Park. We are withing walking distance of everything downtown, the Grant Fitness Center, Columbus Museum of Art, CCAD etc. The area is covered by the Discovery District Special Improvement District which offers safety patrols, clean up and visitor services. We have owned our property since 1982."
