What Locals Say about King-Lincoln-Bronzeville

  • Walter Sebastiani
"This is one of the best areas to live in Ohio very good and convenient closed to downtown to airport the department of police there and stared renovations a-lot houses and new construction"
  • Trulia User
"the traffic tends to be quick and alot of distracted drivers. Makes crossing streets a little interesting with slower dogs. "
  • Marshall S.
"The neighborhood is full of beautiful, historic homes and tree-lined streets. You are never far from a park, be it basic or more elaborate. The Spring St, Long St, and soon Broad St all have beautiful bridges going over 71 into downtown. Mount Vernon is to the north, Woodland Park to the East, Old Towne East directly south, and Discovery District part of downtown to west. "
  • "they have the Lincoln Theater which has events sometimes and also the Martin Luther king building that also has events."
  • Marshall S.
"I can only speak to my personal experience living in Bronzeville for the past 3 years. There is a ton this neighborhood has to offer, including quick access to most of the city, close to the conservatory, main library, and Columbus Museum of Art. There are bus lines going through multiple corridors. The neighborhood is also prime for development along Long Street. Even though I have not experienced it myself, there is still some crime in the area. However, the crime rate is lower than any almost every other neighborhood adjacent to downtown. Unfortunately, the schools do not have good ratings, but I have no personal experience there. The new local library is very nice. "
  • "I’ve live here for a couple of years and it has been great. There isn’t as much crime here and it’s close to the hospital. "
  • Vertex925
"it's a stechy at times. but like any up and coming neighborhood try and get to know the neighbors and my your presence known and act like you belong your be fine."
  • "This turning neighborhood is filled with people who want to save these beautiful old homes. It's really turning into a nice community."
