"Finneytown doesn’t have many. Maybe a parade with the High School. Or even festivals with the grade schools. Parks are nice. "

"The will love the space. There are a lot of dogs, unfortunately that causes many unwanted dog fights. If you train your dog, you probably won’t have a problem. "

"It is a diverse community. The school district needs to work on getting their school ratings higher, & manage their money better."

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBefore my son started school at Brent Elementary School, he was happy, care-free, confident, and everybody was a friend. After just 1 year at Brent Elementary, the bullying was so bad, he became depressed, full of anxiety, his confidence plummeted, and he gets very nervous around kids. I repeatedly brought it up to his teacher, the bus drivers, and the principal and it was NEVER handled. This school can't keep kids safe. RUN FAR AWAY FROM BRENT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. Please explore other options. He's been in therapy for a year+ trying to heal the trauma. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." Please prevent your children from going to this school.Parent Review5y ago2 Reviews - Central Baptist Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStay away from this school if you love you kids they will do everything possible to destroy your kid self esteem, they put fear in them that they can't speak up, the Dean my lerna is the worst of them all, he knows nothing about children's emotions. The teachers are just there for the pay they don't care about the kids. When there's an issue instead of find out the problem and help stopping it they will either expell or suspend your kid. The kids a very joyful and outspoken but since st Vivian turn everything off, imagine your kid a 5 year old saying my teacher don't care. This school encourages kid bulling please if you love your kids stay away there's so much I want to say here but can't just stay away from this schoolOther Review2mo ago5 Reviews - Finneytown Elementary

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur child started kindergarten this year and has had a great experience. He moved from a private preschool to a public school so we were nervous. Its been wonderful and he’s excited to go to school every day. His teacher is amazing and communicates weekly activities and upcoming events/needs. It is a small but strong community. Our child is involved in several things through school and there are often whole school events. (We’re excited for Spring Carnival!) I know things change each year with new teachers and environments, but this first year has been great!Parent Review2mo ago3 Reviews
