"Most holidays are celebrated in the community in general. Additionally the local community while being very neighborly is welcoming to those outside our community. . "

"Park Hill is a typically suburban private area for you to walk your dog around. There are small areas you can walk your dog to and there is a large park just across the sawmill just clean up after your dog if they poop on someone’s lawn or sidewalk as a courtesy and a law. "

"Good family area. Close to parkways. Easy access to NYC. You see many types of animals such as deer, wild turkeys, the area is great for those that love cats and dogs."

"I've lived here for thirteen years and I love it. It's a community that is caring, supportive, neighborly and beautiful. It has history and charm. It's convenient to NYC by car and mass transit with short committee times. I love it here."

"I love beauty of the area: rocky outcroppings, winding roads, charming homes, and a settled, historic feeling. Folks are really committed to the area and are very neighborly. Interesting and diverse community of artists, musicians, writers and a good mix of racial and sexual persuasions. A real oasis just outside NYC"

"I’m living here for about 8 yrs after living in the Bronx. I love my building and surrounding areas. There are some sorrounding areas that are beautiful and well maintained but others are worse than the Bronx. I would do my research prior to making a purchase and you won’t regret it."

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy name is Jackie Buongiorno and I have been a teacher at School 23 for 30 years...my main reason for remaining is simple...the students and families who come to our school deserve the very best...and that is what we give each and every day...test scores are not the sole indicator of whether or not a school is successful...a successful school builds life long relationships with the children it is entrusted with...making sure they are respected, cared for, inspired, and most important...taught to believe they have the ability to do anything they set their minds to...I'm not able to respond to the previous comment that mentions my name, but to the student who wrote it, have no doubt that you made a difference in my life just as much as I did in yours.....thank you.Teacher Review8y ago7 Reviews - United Faith Academy
