"I live next to seaport and there’s a lot of playground and the pier is good and clean area to run with dogs! It is super safe on gold street as the NYPD head quarter is next to my building and there are 24 hour polices stationed at corner of the block ! "

"There are a few dog parks and regular around. I don’t own a dog so I can’t tell what a dog owner would look for. "

"Small, relatively new neighborhood for residential has created a pleasant community. There is a great mix of modern urban center and original NYC history. Streets have an old world feel. "

"My neighborhood has access to 11 different train lines: 1/2/3/4/5/A/C/E/N/R/Q. There is so much within walking distance. There are buses and ferry boats as well. "

"Don’t really have any dog parks. The side walks and streets are very narrow so when walking with your dog it can be a little challenging."

"Rapidly changing neighborhood with new restaurants, shops and entertainment options opening weekly. Walk to the water in three directions. Best transit options in the city with express lines taking you to the west side east side and Brooklyn. "

"there's nothing to dislike. as soon as tourists and business people clear out it's empty in the best way. so much so that you can throw a ball for your dog down the street. it's the best."

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnfortunately after Covid this school has been is considerable decline as far as teachers and overall staff. They just don’t care about the students. My kids have been at this school since preK and now in middle school. Extremely high turnover for teachers. All the best ones left during Covid. There’s no real education. Everything is very disorganized in every subject. There’s no textbook or basic handouts for studying. They set them up for failure and then wonder why these kids are failing! The teachers have to take some accountability here as well. It feels like the kids are just being moved along through the system but they aren’t even able to do basic things that they should have already learned in previous grades. This school is very disappointing. Just because it’s in an expensive neighborhood don’t be fooled. Most parents don’t even know what’s happening. I do not recommend this school at all!Parent Review1y ago15 Reviews - Leman Manhattan Preparatory School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a very special place, with teachers and clinicians who work tirelessly to support their students. I am constantly amazed at the magic they create. It feels as though the work they do is cutting edge as compared to peer schools. Kudos to the team who gives it their all to make a difference.Other Review2mo ago24 Reviews - Blue School
