"It’s very easy to get to and from manhattan with a few train line options 5-10 minute walks away. It takes around 30-45 min to get to bryant park from bergen street. "

"There are many trains and buses in the area to make the commute easy and flexible. There tend to be traffic if you decide to take a cab, I’m assuming since the bridge is so close. "

"Quaint, very near Manhattan, child friendly, near the waterfront. Good schools. I find parking on the street. Easy to buy anything you need around the corner. "

"It’s not too trendy but has all the amenities you’d want in a Brooklyn neighborhood like shops and restaurants and dry cleaners. Feels very “neighborhoods” and I know several of my neighbors. We deliver each other’s packages and watch each other’s cats when we go on vacation. Things like that. Also feels pretty safe. "

"Family oriented neighborhood but is never boring in Boerum Hill. A ton of restaurants, bars, parks, stores, shopping, and public transportation. Close enough to the city, with great views. "

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had high hopes for PS. 29.Every year my child’s experience has been radically different. There seems to little alignment as students move from grade to grade. There is no system or app that allows for fluid communication. While there has been some amazing teachers, the lack of social and emotional support for students compounded with the inability to keep students safe from harassment, would make me reluctant to recommend this school.Parent Review2mo ago16 Reviews - Brooklyn Heights Montessori School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had the most bizarre experience at this school. My daughter was repeatedly harassed, followed into the bathroom, hit and bit by a classmate and yet the school refused to do anything to stop it. Safety is not their priority.Parent Review1y ago1 Reviews
