Pulaski’s reputation is an illusion. It looks like a great school because the things that would threaten that image are swept under the rug. When a child needs even the most basic support, the pressure is put on the family to have the child transferred..parents are blamed, shamed, and made to feel unwelcome until leaving seems like the only option. Principal C.M.’s response when I raised concerns about IEPs not being followed and a staff member physically harming a child is why I cannot recommend Pulaski. Instead of accountability, the concerns I raised were minimized and I was treated as the problem for speaking up. It looks great from the outside only because the students it fails are made to disappear from the story.
