"No parks to bring the dogs nor places that are super dog friendly. Theyâd be better off in Park Slope, Flatbush, or Fort Greene."

"Concerts, great restaurants and bars, smorgasbord and Giglio Fest are all great things about the neighborhood. The Williamsburg water front is great for kids to run around and play. There are loads of events in Williamsburg. Something I miss the most are the strolls in Mccarren Park. Also vintage clothes shopping at my favorite place."

"Yet another neighborheart of Brooklyn. Just like many hoods in BK the parks and playgrounds are safe but at times the locals who have been living here longer than you bump their music and frighten the grown ups until they see their kids are dancing along with Biggieâs beats. "

"It is fun to have a family here. There are decent playgrounds and a real sense of community. There are also some great schools, but you may have to work extra hard and have a lot of patience to get into one that you want."

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy granddaughter has been at this school since K. She's now finishing 3rd grade. In 2nd grade, we discovered that she is dyslexic. It was a confusing and scary time. The school principal, the teachers, and the special education department were remarkably helpful and reassuring, and have continued their support and guidance. P.S. 11 has so much to offer. The halls are full of positive energy and excitement. All students participate in remarkable school performances and projects. Even after-school activities are above the norm. As an educator myself, and knowing how difficult it is to address the myriad problems and situations that every school encounters, I feel that P.S. 11 is exceptional.Other Review1mo ago26 Reviews - Ps 56 Lewis H Latimer
