"The light bill in this building comes out so high every month itâs insane. 400$ for a light bill during a winter month and 700$ in the summer. Beautiful apartment building but not worth it in my opinion. "

"I see they have a lot of bingo nights in the park. The people are friendly and its mostly quiet. Its just going past University Avenue to get to the shopping area you feel like you came out the suburbs and entered the hood. Other than that the community is clean and quiet. "

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePS 340 is an exceptional school in the Bronx! It offers rigorous and impressive reading, writing and math curriculums as well as many enrichment opportunities for students. All of the staff members are very welcoming and supportive of parents and their families. I looked up their achievement on state tests, and they perform better than other schools in the district. A wonderful school to send your child too!Parent Review3y ago9 Reviews - St Philip Neri School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSt. Philip Neri is an okay school. I personally had a good experience going there but many of my friends did not. The way that the recent administration handled disciplinary actions was terrible and often biased by the principal's past perceptions/views of you. Barely over half of the teachers were good some were alright, and there were a large minority with short tempers and others who would drift off topic when teaching. The school also needs to improve its afterschool activities and such. With new funding from the archdiocese I expected that clubs and activities would improve but they didn't. Of course, the school had other problems with structure and stuff but still. There are counselors for kids that need them which is good for mental health. My advice to any students/parents reading this is make sure you value your own personal journey if you go here, if you want to go to a super good school then going here won't be enough you have to work hard for it.Other Review2mo ago20 Reviews - Girls Preparatory Charter School of the Bronx II
