This is an amazing school with dedicated, caring staff and the bilingual immersion program is an incredible learning opportunity for native English and Spanish speaking students. There is a volunteer requirement, which results in parents being more involved than in some traditional school settings. It gives a true sense of community!

My son has been atttending this school since Kindergarten and is now finishing up 3rd grade. There is no better school then St. Thresa in South Lake Tahoe, weather you are Catholic or not. They teach academics, social responsibily, morality, and how to be an overall good kid. Regardless of the rumours, our teachers are fully accredited and kids are tested for what they retain, not what they are forced to learn so the school gets money. If you are willing to make a sacrifice, and make your child your priority then St. Thresa is where to send your child.

This is a court mandated school linked to a juvenile hall. It is small, so students are able to get one on one attention by teachers. In the past 5 years, several students have been able to catch up on credits enabling them to graduate or obtain GEDs. Staff is caring and committed.
