"No dog parks and not very safe to walk your dog. Dog may go missing from your yard just like packages do"

"The old historic homes and buildings. Wouldn’t live in barelas though as it not a very safe neighborhood. To close to downtown area and train station where the homeless hangout. "

"My neighborhood is very safe for children, my neighbors have owned their home for years and everyone has 1/2 acre or more. Everyone knows everyone, there’s not a lot of houses for sale & not a lot of new people moving in. My kids can walk down the street and there’s not a lot of traffic. I love it because it’s so beautiful, there’s a lot of trees, and open land, horses, and wild rabbits! "

"I drive and I jump on the freeway! I love driving in my neighborhood because all my neighbors have at least 1/2 acre or more and it’s like living in the country! There’s trees and horses and the landscapes are beautiful "

It very calm and unique place to live. I would not live in any other neighborhood. I would highly recommend any body to come live in this neighborhood. "

"I have lived in this neighborhood for the past 5 years and had the chance to see this area of the city grow while still being quite and rustic. its unique in that it is a farming community with some amazing neighbors that is still part of the city. it has old and new combined. most of my neighbors built their house in the 50's-70's and the original owners. there are tons of fields and pastures throughout this neighborhood. most people own various farm animals (cows, chickens, horses, sheep and goats) and are able to have a rustic lifestyle minutes from a metropolis. "Awesome place. In a rush rush world. The South Valley is a little more lay back. People in the community take the time to know one another. Wouldn't trade it for the world"

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe worst school my kids ever attended, felt favoritism and discrimination constantly. The kids were bullied and weren’t learning at the level they should have been. Also, never in my years have an encountered unwelcoming and unprofessionalism by staff mostly by office/front. There are better options for schools.Other Review7mo ago5 Reviews - Atrisco Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo my review for this school is low. My son has been at this school for about 3 weeks now. And what I have witnessed with the staff in the 3 weeks I've been here, are rude. Just witnessed a teacher yelling at a younger student. Now my son is non verbal autistic, yes kids sometimes don't listen. But that's with all kids. We leave our children in the safety of these teachers and staff to teach, show compassion, etc... Horrible!!!Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Barcelona Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school does absolutely nothing for bullying and even ENDORSES the bullying. Even when provided with proof of physical, cyber, and verbal attacks, they took no action. Ms. Dully goes out of her way to protect and even prevent disciplinary actions. This is not the first time we've had an experience like this at this school. Almost 10 years ago we had a similar experience.Parent Review1y ago13 Reviews - Kit Carson Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is not a good school starting with the principal. She is very dismissive about problems or concerns with the students! Does not put an end to bullying and always takes the bully’s side leaving the vulnerable kids to deal with the problem! Wish they would change her!Parent Review1y ago4 Reviews
