4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLeeds ave. school is a very nice looking school . My complaints are the staff . They are mean , rude , uninformed , and lack commonsense . Every time there is a event or school function I am literally always told the day of , and the teachers aren't even apologetic . The way I hear the staff talk to the children is at most times rude and condescending . Alot of you are probably in denial about the things im writing , but before you right this off play school with your child and let them be the teacher . Or when you drop them off stand around and observe the interaction with the staff and students . Everything that glitters ain't gold but what do you expect from a corrupted school board !Parent Review12y ago2 Reviews - North Main St Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids and niece and nephew have been going there for a few years now and they've had a decent experience. Not many programs, if any. Sports have to be joined out of school. Most of the teachers are awesome! At least, the ones they've had. They help out the kids, talk to them, are helpful, and very supportive. That's it. The teachers make the school because the school doesn't have much else to say for itself. But that's just our experience. Nothing to brag about except that we taught them well enough to stay out of trouble and the teachers were supportive enough to back that up. It's not a bad school, it just doesn't stand out.Parent Review10y ago1 Reviews - H. Ashton Marsh Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at Highland Academy has been more than excellent. My child was in the gifted and talented program at his former elementary & middle school and his academic progress has accelerated at Highland, as his Iowa scores demonstrate. However, my child's social skills have increased even faster than his academic performance, because he genuinely enjoys his classmates, his teachers, and his school. Our family greatly appreciates all aspects of the Highland Academy experience.Parent Review6y ago6 Reviews - Trocki Jewish Community Day School
