The Heights

This is a great school that provides a quality environment for its students. Please note that I’m intentionally saying **“quality environment,” not “quality education.”**In recent years, the school has had a significant waitlist, which led to plans to expand into a nearby building that is also shared with an Adult Day Care and a technology company. While the intention was clearly to accommodate more students and provide them with a good educational environment, it appears that some of the basic security considerations may not have been fully addressed when moving students through 4th grade into a shared facility.I also want to clarify that a suggestion should not automatically come with an expectation that the person making it must also volunteer their time or provide financial support. Parents should be able to raise reasonable concerns and suggestions as members of the school community. The responsibility for evaluating, prioritizing, and implementing those suggestions should rest with the appropriate school administration and board.
