This school sells a lie based on them being a blue ribbon school. That ribbon was handed out over 20 years and can speak of this today. They pretend to operate on the idea of academics but I don’t see how they even give the kids the quality of education I see in school in not so pleasing areas. Paying higher taxes for poor quality education is such waste. They do a disservice to children with special needs. And measure they need with bias, and extreme prejudice. Parents who live with a mile do not send their children to this school because of the quality they deliver. If you want to be an active parent good luck getting your voice heard and respected and having your child’s needs supported. I would rather homeschool at this point for all that I have experienced.

Bear Tavern staff seems to show a true interest in the nurturing of the youth in this area. They could invest more in permanent educational structures. The trailers have been there for decades. However, the fields are amazing. Best in the local area. Ms. Townsend was especially helpful with our needs for regarding special attention. Highly recommended to those looking to move to the area.

People move to this community for our schools. The rate for this school is 100% inaccurate. It’s a charming school, with engaging teachers. A very safe and quaint, walkable town. Everyone knows each other. Each of our 4 elementary schools feed into 1 middle school then 1 high school. We have 4 children and never plan to live anywhere. If you’ve seen the astronomical housing cost growth, it seems others are eager to move here.
