"Great area for families, kids sports programs and schools. Convenient neighborhood shopping including the freehold mall. Main Street in town offers a wide variety of restaurants and bars. On the west side there are multiple strip malls with a ton of shops and restaurants. Beaches are 25/40 minutes away depending on the neighborhood you choose. Besides all of this you are close to 2 major outlets, the jersey shore outlets and the Jackson outlets. All in all, a great place to raise a family."

"There is a leash law. Dog owners are responsible for picking up after their dog. It’s a quiet neighborhood. Therefore, loud barking dogs would be a nuisance to neighbors. "

"I raised my four children who attended the Freehold Twp. Schools and Freehold Twp. HS. They were well prepared for college and success oriented as a result. The wonderful citizens of the township add to the family-oriented focus. The properties are well maintained, and the neighbors are embracing. My children and I have made many friends who share the same values on child-rearing. I feel very safe here. The police and fire departments are outstanding, too. This neighborhood in particular is very convenient to shopping. There are three supermarkets within a one-minute drive, the Freehold Raceway Mall is a very short distance, and there are multiple strip malls as well. There are many parks in the area that are a bike-ride away. Additionally, Freehold Borough is a very short drive. Every one of the many restaurants on and off Main Street is beyond superb. There are many places of worship, Turkey Swamp Park with its magnificent hiking trails, and every kind of business one could ever need. It is also convenient to have the County Seat nearby. This town is very well-planned and organized. I am glad that I chose this town for my children and me and do not see myself ever leaving. We have been blessed in so many ways."

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThings are certainly different in comparison to the Howell schools my siblings attended before they transferred here. They always preferred their old schools to this one. It could be their bias, but even I agree the Howell schools were better in that there were less issues with the teachers, more fun activities for the students and less homework given out. As well as the fact we didn’t have to constantly pay for this or that. Seriously, they would send my siblings home with papers for some party or whatever that needed to be funded or school shirts and such when we were used to being given these things for free or a smaller fee. I’m not sure how that all works, but it was just an odd comparison. However, for all its faults this school does try and is beautiful. There’s a ton of personality inside the school with the murals made by their students and constant projects always displayed made by the students. My siblings have even made more friendships than I expected here and I’m grateful for that. Especially grateful for the teachers that encourage them to be themselves. From my family’s experiences, it’s not the best school, but it is a good school.Other Review6y ago7 Reviews - Freehold Montessori Village Preschool
