Mine Brook

My two sons study at this school. I am very satisfied with how the elementary school is run. For every question or request, I receive a quick respectful response and warm, caring attention (from the administrative staff to the school nurse).My older son is in Mrs. Rosnell’s class, and she is an exceptional and incredibly positive teacher. Our younger son is in Mrs. Eck’s class for students with special needs, and he has made tremendous progress in just two months. He communicates with us more, comes home happy, and joyfully says the names of the staff members who work with him.We are immigrants, and English is not our children’s first language. We moved here only a few months ago, and our older son learned to read English within one month, and now looks forward every day to going to school, learning, and succeeding (something that had never happened before). The school offers many enrichment lessons, and the classrooms are spacious.My kids are in good hands, they feel safe and welcomed.

The care and development of one’s child is among the most sacred responsibilities in which a parent can entrust others. Enrolling our son in his new school probably made us feel more vulnerable than him! From day one, our experience with the staff at Albrook, especially his teachers and aftercare aids, has only made us feel comfortable with our decision. From our regular amazement at his pace of learning, to his obvious enthusiasm when talking about his classmates and teachers, we’re so appreciative of his time at the school and look forward to many more smiles in the future. A wonderful school with a 360 degree approach to education and learning. The children are both supported and challenged with an individualized learning plan that reflects their particular learning style. My three kids are thriving and I am grateful for the amazing collaborators and community found at this school .

Love this school for the small class sizes, the dedicated teachers, and the sense of community from the parents of the school. Though we have incredible public schools in the area, my reason for choosing this school wasn't because of religious affiliation, it was simply because I wanted a small class size school where I could get physically involved more than my public school. Like, you can volunteer to do recess duty, lunch duty, or anything like that. Really incredible sense of community.
