Read what parents are saying about School of St. ElizabethWe've honestly never had a problem. It's a small school so you will have your groups especially with the girls. My girl is very friendly with the girls in her class, but is NOT friends with them (ie they have never done playdates and unless it's a class event or birthday party she has never visited their homes) She has many outside interests and friends. I think this has taught her a valuable lesson very early in life. Everyone treats everyone with respect.
Posted by a parent on 2/13/2020My children have been at this school for 8 years and we are very satisfied. My kids are happy and my child scored very well on his placement test at his Catholic high school. The curriculum is solid and well rounded and we are very impressed with the STEM learning programs. The school also provides a very loving and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow.
Posted by a parent on 7/3/2019This is our 2nd year at St E's and we love it. Our daughter is in 4th grade. We pulled her out of public school after 2nd grade. Latin class was a big draw for us. The teachers are excellent. Good sports program too. Now's the time to get your kids out of public schools where they are being inundated with unhealthy messages & teachings!
Posted by a parent on 1/24/2019My child attended this school and was not prepared for high school. Teachers are not qualified to teach the subject matter. The attitude of the students is un-Christian. School is fine for lower grades but quality of education slips off in the upper grades.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school along with most public schools are not focusing on education. You only have to look at the recent principal hire. She has no real experience in the position. This school used be a 9/10 on great schools. You would think the board would have to looked to hire someone with a proven track record of turning around poor performance. They are more concerned with allowing boys to use the girls bathroom.Parent Review11mo ago - Somerset Hills Montessori School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSomerset Hills Montessori school has been a god send to me and my daughter. We immediately became apart of the somerset hills family. Because that’s how they make you feel at this school, like family. My daughter attended school and camp here for 3 years and again they have been a blessing. The level of education that my child has received is truly astounding. Her level of learning is currently at the level of a second grader thanks to Somerset Hills Montessori school. I truly thank them for everything they have done for my family and we will forever remember them.Parent Review1y ago - Palmer School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children at SJS and will soon have all three there. The youngest is beyond excited to go because she sees how much her brothers love it there. We have been so happy with our experience there, from the extremely dedicated teachers and classroom support staff to the administration. As a child, I was subjected to extreme bullying and abuse at the hands of my peers as well as certain teachers, and I was certain I wanted a better experience for my own children. Saint James has provided everything I was looking for and more. I can't say enough good about this place. A note to non-Catholic families: the school will make you feel welcome even if you don't practice the same faith. A non-trivial number of students are not practicing Roman Catholics, and everyone gets along just fine.Parent Review9mo ago
