I had an awful experience with this school. I finally pulled my 1st grader out of school and we had to move to a different town. Principal Scully did not care that I was pulling my son out of school after they failed to offer to sit down with myself as the parent and figure out why my son was struggling in this school. Since I moved t a different school district my son is doing great and his confidence has completely changed. The teachers don’t care about students. They don’t want to put in the time or effort to teach the children. They just place them in front of iPads and expect the children to learn. I am so grateful and happy that I removed front child from this school. He loves going to school now. It is true that the teachers and staff make all the difference in your child’s education and experience.

My daughter started at MCA for 3rd grade and is now entering 5th grade, so I've had a couple years to form an opinion.To start off, she started in public school in a different district, and it was horrible. That school treated children like a number, the classroom sizes were too big, and my daughter was testing below grade level but was one of the few students to be "doing so well" in comparison to her classmates. This told me that her previous school was just passing kids along to be the next teacher's problem for the following year, so my husband and I decided to try MCA and prayed that would help.When I tell you it was a night and day difference, that is an understatement. The teachers are so kind and attentive. The homework is challenging, but the teachers spend ample time teaching the material and working with each student to help them grasp and understand the material.My daughter is now testing ABOVE grade level for most of her subjects according to her standardized test scores. When I say above grade level, I'm talking about 5th-7th when she was only in 4th grade. As a Christian school, they also have Bible classes where they learn different stories in the Bible as well as a new Bible verse each week. I swear, she probably knows more verses than I do at this point! They also learn lessons from these stories and how to apply these lessons to their lives.Lastly, my child has ADHD. And even though there's no professional helper/specialized care for my child at this school like she might receive at public school, the staff has been in communication with me and her doctors on how to best provide care for her needs. My child has flourished at this school. She feels safe and loved and is receiving a quality education that was severely lacking when she went to public school.I highly recommend considering this school for your child's education.
