I have worked in the Bound Brook School District for 16 years and have had the pleasure of working with the elementary principal Dr. Hipolita Hernandez-Sicignano for the past 5 years. She is one of the most compassionate and hard working administrators in this district. She always goes above and beyond for every student who walks through our doors and works tirelessly for every family to ensure student safety. She will always greet every parent, student and faculty member with a smile and listens to every concern brought to her attention and does her very best to resolve them. She is the heart of both LaMonte and LaMonte Annex. We here at Bound Brook are extremely lucky to have her as our principal.

Our daughter transferred here from out of state and the team at Adamsville Primary were wonderful and made the transition very easy. The staff and students were so welcoming and our daughter settled in to the school very quickly. We receive regular updates from the school and they have an extensive range of enrichment options. We are very happy with the curriculum and learning materials which are engaging for our child as she begins her academic journey.

This has been one of the worst experiences my family has ever had at a school. The principal, guidance counselor, and some of the teachers present themselves as kind and supportive, but their actions say otherwise. I was forced to go back and forth repeatedly just to address concerns regarding my child, which was exhausting and unnecessary. Communication was poor, and it often felt like our concerns were dismissed rather than genuinely addressed. As a parent, I expected collaboration and support, but instead I encountered resistance and a lack of accountability.
