"Neighborhood social events take place once a month. Meet your neighbors, experience new things, and have a blast!!"
  • Amanda S.
"Wilmington is a college town and a beach town. A lot of tourists during the summer. Mostly college kids, retirees and families live here year-round. I live near Wrightsville Beach, and the cost of living is pretty high, but for good reason, I believe. Beautiful and clean city."
  • Marylou3553
"I have a dog that I walk here daily. Friendly neighbors with well-behaved dogs, but pretty heavy traffic on some of the roads."
  • Marylou3553
"It’s a great place to live! Good location, close to the beach, , good neighbors. I feel very safe here."
  • Marylou3553
"In my opinion, Long Leaf Acres and Windermere are the most desirable place to live here in Wilmington. The location is great, you are less than ten minutes away from Wrightsville Beach and you can walk or bike to Mayfaire, no more than 15 minutes away from basically anywhere in town. Quiet, No crime, everyone maintains their property well but no HOA fees, neighbors are friendly."
  • Marylou3553
"It has no HOA but all the properties are well-cared for... and neighbors are friendly. Lots of families and retired folks, so it’s a nice mix of people. Lots of dogs, including my own, so very pet-friendly. Centrally located in Wilmington and less than 10 minutes to Wrightsville Beach."
  • Craig S.
"Green meadows is an older well kept community. Its very family oriented. The neighborhood is seeing young families come in and completely renovating the properties."
  • Robin W.
"The main thing that we love about our home is the location! The neighborhood connects to Mayfaire and all it has to offer: free Friday night concerts, restaurants, bars, shopping, and it's all just a short bike ride away! Also, we are walking distance to the elementary and middle schools!"
  • Andrea
"We have lived in this neighborhood for 22 years. We have seen many changes especially over the past 12 years with the cut through to MayFaire and the extended of Tanbridge Rd. Many of our neighbors have lived in their homes for many years also and do not want to leave!!! The walking and biking paths are wonderful."
  • Craig S.
"This neighborhood is having a turn around, young families are moving in and rehabing the homes."
