My experience with this school has been very positive. I love the small size because everyone knows my child by name and they really make the students feel important and able to be successful. My child went to a larger school in this county before we moved and it was not as positive. I believe this is the best school around for individual attention and a personal atmosphere. My child has really grown a lot academically since moving to this school!

I have two children and both have gone to Wilkesboro Elementary School. I can say first hand that if it was not for the caring, teachers and principal at this school that my son wouldn't have come as far as he has. When my son first came to Wilkesboro Elementary he could not speak two words, my son has autism. My son was mainstreamed into regular classrooms with his peers. He is now in the 4th grade, making leaps and bounds. I take my hat off to all the teachers and the principal. I can tell you that this school is a school of excellance. There is not another school in the state that has anything on WES!! god bless
