6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHonestly one of the worst schools! Principal Peeples needs to go, I've heard from many MANY teachers about her love for playing favorites and how she bullies her own employees. Why doesn't she get moved? Oh guess what? She used to work in HR and so her buddies there don't do a thing about her turn over rate. Think about it. This school has some of the highest turn over rate and the biggest complaint I've heard is leadership. Wake up and smell the roses y'all! My kid has gotten hit and punched and shoved all year long and they are getting more chance to come back and continue to traumatize my kid! Why do we allow the few to ruin it for the bunch? Do better!!!!!!Parent Review2y ago9 Reviews - Irving Park Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love this school! The community is so warm and involved in the school. Great teachers on staff who truly care about the kids. My daughter not only learns math and literacy, but also social and emotional maturity and kindness for others. The test scores do not say everything about a school environment.Parent Review3y ago11 Reviews - Rankin Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has significant student and teacher turnover. They cannot maintain the same teachers because of the poor administration. They also expect a thousand responsibilities they put on their teachers shoulders for such a low amount of pay. Students are asked to leave St. Pius School for a variety of reasons by administration. When my child attended there I saw three students asked to leave mid year. Teachers were asked to leave for insane reasons I heard. However, the female school counselor at St. Pius School became pregnant with the male Middle School Science teacher. They both had a shotgun wedding, while she was pregnant to try and cover everything up. I am surprised the Charlotte Catholic Diocese was not involved in disciplinary measures for the counselor and the Science teacher. I have seen them dismiss teachers for matters even less. The turnover between teachers and students here is very high. Beware! You have been warned.Parent Review2w ago22 Reviews
