"The Central-Terry neighborhood does not meld with the Clark neighborhood where you will find historical homes and the community gathering for notable trick or treating during Halloween. The reviews you show for the Central-Terry neighborhoods are misleading. However, this area does provide solid value and consistent marketability. "

"It’s a nice place and the neighbors stay to themselves Other than that it’s an older area close to downtown and access to the other parts of town is good"

"Dog walkers have those dogs on leashes and clean up after their dogs here which is proper thing to do and shows good responsibility of dog ownership "

"We are a beloved part of town where year-after-year people come from all over town to bring their kids trick-or-treating."

"We have hundreds of trick-or-treaters come to our street from all over town for Halloween, and it feels like a good neighborhood from which to walk or ride bikes downtown. My husband and I love our self powered outside commutes"

"Farmer’s Markets on Saturday mornings, great restaurants and breweries within walking distance, lovely tree lined streets and well maintained yards."

"Too many dogs left teathered outside unattended. Some sidewalks have overhanging branches/shrubs on sidewalks. Snow is not shoveled from many sidewalks and can make winter walks dangerous."

"My neighborhood is quiet, I work around the City as a Remodel contractor. The Commute is not bad . "

"The kids that run around leaving graffiti on everything, the glass in the sand by the sidewalks and the junkyard down the street. "

"Everyone prefers dogs and lots of people have them and walk them. The dogs are not barkers unless someone walks down the alley "

"We have a very observant neighborhood. We watch out for each other and report all suspicious activity. "

"It's easy to get to the west end, downtown or heights from here. Mature trees, lots of kids playing, people jogging, feels like a community."

"Historic neighborhood with lots of potential. This area seems to have a lot of rentals which makes it hard to build long-term relationships with neighbors."

"This area is a great quiet neighborhood. Love the fact I can just walk to Lucky's Market and the other stores."

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience was not good. I agree that the principal is good with the students which she seemed to be; however, she is not good with her staff especially substitute teachers. She lets the kids run the school. I saw a teacher discipline one of her students for throwing stuff. I next saw the principal go over to the teacher and tell her that it wasn't alright for her to discipline the student for throwing stuff. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had a child at this school since 2008. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with teachers, staff and the principal. Is it perfect? Of course not. Yet I have always been encouraged to be active in my children's classrooms and set up conferences when needed. Any questions or concerns I have had are always addressed by the principal, teacher or staff member in a professional, honest and respectful manner.Parent Review11y ago3 Reviews - Washington Elementary School
