I would recommend this as one of the best elementary schools in Springfield. Small classes, caring teachers, walkable to neighbors in Woodland Heights, but without the endless busy-ness of a more affluent school. Our kids are flourishing and excelling academically. I credit this largely to the positive atmosphere that encourages a love of learning at his school.

1 year. 4 nurses.4 teachers.3 principals. This school is a garbage fire. No funds besides outside resources are going to the kids. All fund raises are to help staff have a fund to eat food.

Christian Schools of Springfield has been around since 1963. They teach all subjects with a Biblical worldview. The teachers are great and really care for the students. They are approachable and compassionate. I am so glad that I had the privilege to attend CSOS.

As a parent, I am incredibly disappointed by the toxic social environment at this school. My son, who is naturally kind and tried his best to make friends, faced persistent cruelty, name-calling, and slurs from his peers. The student body fostered an unkind and hostile culture, yet when my child finally reacted to the relentless bullying, he was the one who faced disciplinary action. The severe lack of empathy among the students, combined with the school’s inability to address their mean behavior effectively, caused our family immense distress. And it seems like if you are not known by the principal or someone you get in trouble even More so you Have to be the one in the middle. As a Parent i do not Reccomend this school !
